#6. Rocks.

I have always loved rocks.  They make me feel safe because they are so old and so stong.  Each and everyone has been through so much.  They all hold so much wisdom.

#5: Book Titles.

  I love the moment when you read the title of the book in the text.  Everything seems to come together and it all makes sense.  The title that initially intruigued you into picking up the book has now been explained and you feel as if you have a deep connection with the novel.  Sometimes I get so excited by this that I have to exclaim outloud with joy.  It’s what makes reading worthwhile.

#4: Plastic Can Loops.

When I was very young and saw a commercial warning (with very graphic images trapped of fish and seaguls) that you have to cut the plastic loops that hold aluminum cans together.  Ever since then I have to pick up and cut any of said plastic loops that I see on the ground, no matter where I am or how dirty they are.   I also have cut the loops so that the plastic remains in one piece.  If I accidentaly cut the plastic in two I feel as if I have failed and the karma gained by picking up and properly disposing of the loops is lost.

#3: Cardigans.

When ever I hang cardigans up in my closet, I feel like I’m Mr. Rogers.

#2: Slinky.

I can’t stand when people play with my slinky.  I have a paranoid fear about slinkies getting tangled.  It makes me all uncomfortable just thinking about it.  When ever people come over they go right for it, and start bouncing it up and down.  I am so afraid that one day it will get tangled.  I would never get over that.

#1: Calculators.

Whenever I solve a problem with a calculator, I must clear the screen of everything before starting a new question.  I feel that of there are still equations left visible from the last question, the answer I find is sure to be wrong.

Hi, I’m Maya.  This is my second tumblr account (the first being: mouzeron.tumblr.com - where I upload my photography and quotes that I love).  This one has a more direct purpose.  As the name suggests, I am going to be posting here things that go on in me head.  Things I love, things that drive me nuts, little connections that go on in my brain etc. will all be posted here, along with accompanying pictures.  I am going to try to post regulairly (every two days?) and we’ll see where this goes!
